The PowerStage System comes with a Kicker 8" Subwoofer powered by a 200-watt amp in a single enclosure that installs behind the rear bench seats in the holes meant for the stock Sony subwoofer, as well as an additional 200-watt amp for boosting power to all the door speakers for improved sound quality and volume. Kicker came to the rescue with their VSS PowerStage System. We were in the same conundrum when it came to our very 2015 F150 2.7L EcoBoost Project truck, and while we chose not to shell out for the Sony System, we did want better audio coming out of our truck.
